Ms. Galuski joined the Department in 2014. She has 20 years experience in municipal housing finance in both the public and private sectors. Ms. Galuski oversees the Department's TBA program, single family bond program, multifamily bond program, and homeownership activities. Ms. Galuski received a Bachelor of science in Financial Management from Arizona State University.
Teresa Morales is the Director of Multifamily Bonds for the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs and oversees the Department’s 4% Housing Tax Credit program. During her 20+ year tenure with the Department, she has been responsible for back-end compliance relating to the Department’s Residential Mortgage Revenue Bond and Multifamily Bond Trust Indentures and has overseen the issuance of over $1.5 billion in Private Activity Bonds and over $500 million in 4% Housing Tax Credits. Ms. Morales earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her Master’s degree in Applied Sociology from Texas State University.
Heather Hodnett, Manager of Single Family Finance. Ms. Hodnett oversees and assists in the issuance of single family bonds, and the day to day management of mortgage banking activities of single family programs. She began working for TDHCA in 1993 as a revenue bond accountant in the Financial Services Division and has been in the Bond Finance Division since 2001. Ms. Hodnett received a BBA degree in Finance from Texas State University.
John Tomme, Senior Financial Analyst. Mr. Tomme began working for TDHCA in 2011 as a grant accountant in the Accounting Division. He later became a bond accountant and budget analyst. In 2016, he joined the Bond Finance Division. He assists with the issuance of Single Family mortgage revenue bonds. Oversees CRA compliance, data gathering and reporting, and partnerships with local Housing Finance Corporations. Mr. Tomme received BBA degrees in Finance and Accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Michelle Straley, Senior Financial Analyst. Ms. Straley began working for TDHCA in 2013 as a revenue bond accountant and joined the Bond Finance Division in 2017. She is currently the divisions Bond Disclosure Manager. She also assist with issuance of single family mortgage revenue bonds, debt service schedules for single and multifamily issues, and reconciles second lien mortgage loans. Ms. Straley received a BBA degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington and her MBA at Tarleton State University in Fort Worth.
Mr. Quintanilla, Houston born but Austin Native - started working for TDHCA in January 2020 after transitioning from an Advisor role with New York Life where he helped clients for nearly 3 years with insurance and financial planning. Excited to add to his previous knowledge he now assists TDHCA with the issuance of Single Family mortgage revenue bonds, data gathering and reporting, as well as partnerships with local Housing Finance Corporations. Mr. Quintanilla received a BBA degree in Finance from Texas State University in San Marcos.
